I’m an Adjunct Criminal Justice Instructor…

with experience teaching in-person and online classes at the undergraduate level. While my expertise center around criminology and criminal justice classes, research methods for the social sciences, and applied statistics, my interests are far and wide.

I don’t see myself as an all-knowing classroom leader. Instead, I am a facilitator, helping my students learn, analyze, and revise their knowledge and skills. My students teach me just as much I teach them.

Hi, I’m Laramie.

I earned my MA in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska in 2019.

My graduate thesis “When Creativity Bites: An Analysis of Online Far-Left Communiques” explored the use of malevolent creativity by far-left extremists in the U.S. and abroad.

Higher education is my calling. I’ve been teaching as a full-time adjunct for over two years, and before that, I worked in the financial aid office at a private university while teaching part-time.
