Proofreading & Homework Check

Along with providing basic proofreading services, your academic coach compares your homework to your teacher’s assignment instructions and rubric. This is the best way to ensure your homework is done well AND done correctly! Basic proofreading includes a grammar, spelling, and punctuation check. I also check for overall clarity and sentence structure.

What you can expect with proofreading and homework check services:

• 24-48 hour turnaround.
• Detailed error check, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Overall clarity check.
• Analysis of assignment completion, where I compare your teacher’s assignment requirements with your work. Missing elements are pointed out, and suggestions for improvements are made.

Proofreading service charges are usually calculated per word. My standard rate is $0.03 per word. I typically charge $0.04 per word for proofreading and homework check services. For simplicity, I’ve created a tiered billing structure that allows you to choose the word count range of the writing you want to be proofread. You pay between $0.03 and $0.04 per word, depending on your word count.

***If you require a turnaround time faster than 24-48 hours or have a word count higher than 5,000 words, the price per word will need to be discussed between proofreader and client prior to purchasing services. I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, with or without reason.
