Finished January 12, 2025. These are my favorite socks. I knitted them using the One Sock pattern by Kate Atherley (that pattern is flawless) and K&C Sock Star yarn in Tutti Fruity Pop.
I knitted these socks two-at-a-time on separate needles using the magic loop method. That is my current favorite way to knit socks, and I don’t foresee that changing anytime soon.
Compared to my December 2024 Socks, I like my January 2025 socks a little better for a couple of reasons. First, the colors are wild, and I love a wild pair of socks. Second, I made the cuff longer on this pair, (and used a smaller needle size – I don’t think I did on the December socks), so the sock feels a bit more comfortable. Overall, both of these socks are lovely and I prefer wearing them over store-bought socks, even in the summer!
